Description of Heavy Fuel Oil Fired Engines Exhaust Gas Heat Recovery Boiler Equipment:

HFO generator set waste heat boiler is a special high-efficiency energy-saving product for specially designed for waste heat recovery of the flue gas of the heavy fuel oil generator set.


The waste heat recovery system after engines for purpose of superheated steam generation for combined cycle application and saturated LP steam generation for Power plant's self-demand use.

The exhaust gas boiler is adopted fin tube to strengthen the extended heating surface of the heat transfer components, the heating surface of both sides of water pipe can be greatly increased, meanwhile the strong turbulence formed by the flue gas flowing through the surface of fin tube can improve the heat transfer efficiency and reduce the soot accumulation, the waste heat boiler is with advantages of compact structure, high heat efficiency, long working life, safe and reliable features, simply maintenance. Now it has been used for hundreds of different gas-fired generator sets, achieved considerable economic benefits.

The features of the waste heat boiler:
(1)    Compact structure, high heat efficiency
The heating area per unit length is large, which of the finned tube is 7.8 times of the smooth tube. The fin tube welding quality is high. With the size and the weight of the equipment greatly reduced, therefore, in the same heat transfer surface, the equipment investment is greatly reduced, and larger space can be provided to the users on the aspect of the equipment installation.
 

(2)    Shock-proof and noise reduced
Due to the device structural design and the structural characteristics of the finned tube, it has the structural characteristics of the muffler, so the equipment can function as a muffler.

(3)    Convenient for installation, operation and maintenance
While installation, it only need to connect the equipment to the exhaust gas outlet of HFO engine units, the equipment can be put into normal operation; exhaust gas boiler has check door, which can be determined the cleaning cycle according to the actual situation to ensure the heat transfer effect and increase the working life.

(4) The heating surface of exhaust gas boiler consists of superheater, evaporator, economizer and feed water preheater. According to the heat balance calculation, exhaust gas boiler to achieve the designed steam production, it must be equipped with economizer section to further absorb the low energy in the exhaust gas by feed water. On the one hand, the feed water temperature can be raised and the steam production of the boiler can be increased. On the other hand, the effective utilization rate of the evaporator section heating surface can be improved.

(5) In order to increase the heat transfer temperature and pressure of the exhaust gas boiler, the exhaust gas boiler is adopted the counter-flow arrangement, that is working medium and exhaust gas flow in opposite direction.

(6) Operators are equipped with platforms, ladders and protective railings, steps and other facilities. The design of platform and ladders implements the current national standards to ensure that the operator goes to the place where it is frequently operated and inspected.
Boiler structure should be easy to install, operate, maintain and overhaul. The steel frame adopts welded structure with anti-corrosion and anti-rust measures, which should meet the requirements of relevant standards and specifications.
The platform and the ladders adopt a galvanized grid structure. The width of the platform and the ladders are in accordance with the requirements of the national standard, and they are provided with railings.
