The pin tube is on the outside of the boiler water tube, and there are many pins welded to it. The heated area outside the water pipe (ie, the flue gas side) improves the heat transfer coefficient. Therefore, the ZWY pin tube boiler has the characteristics of small size, light weight, high thermal efficiency (>83%), fast steam rising speed (usually 15-18 minutes), and easy maintenance, especially pin tube structure makes it possible to clean up soot more conveniently and does not pollute the environment of the engine room.

- ZWY boiler is high-performance welded horizontal threaded tube boiler,
- Circular furnace is the radiant heating surface of boiler; unique threaded tubes are convectional heating surface of fuel portion.
- The threaded surface of flue gas side increases gas rotating flow, therefore it enhances the heat transfer coefficient.
- Inspection holes are in front and back of the boiler( cleaning door), therefore it is easy to clean.
- Feedwater valve and scum valve can be arranged at back or side of boiler.
The boiler is suitable for cargo ships, general cargo ships and so on less steam consumption ships,safe and reliable,fuel saving,and well received by users.
